Belmar Spa & Beach Resort in Lagos is ideal for family holidays and spa breaks in the Algarve. The resort overlooks the beautiful beach of Porto de Mos and comprises a range of self-catering luxury accommodation.
Belmar Spa & Beach Resort comprises an aparthotel and two apartment clusters. The aparthotel offers studio, one and two bedroom apartments, and two bedroom duplex apartments, served by two communal swimming pools and a children’s paddling pool.
The apartment clusters have a mix of two and three bedroom apartments, and each cluster has its own communal pool. The fully equipped accommodation is of a high specification with luxurious interior design and includes satellite TV, DVD player, air conditioning and a fully equipped open plan kitchen.
The outdoor leisure area comprises a tennis court/multipurpose sports pitch and a children's playground.
Belmar Spa & Fitness is at the heart of the resort and guests on site have free use of the spa facilities. Guests at Belmar Spa & Beach Resort also receive preferential rates on golf rounds on all Oceanico Golf Courses.
This luxury resort is just a five minute drive from the bustling centre of Lagos which offers many activities including dolphin-watching boat trips and relaxing days at one of the many sandy beaches. In the evening choose from a wide range of restaurants & bars where you can sample the delicious Portuguese cuisine, as well as a variety of international cuisines. Lagos also boasts a stunning Marina, with restaurants, bars and shops. The nearby town of Praia da Luz with its cobbled streets, superb sandy beach and spectacular sandstone cliff offers a great range of water sports, bars and restaurants.
Belmar Spa & Fitness is at the heart of the resort and all guests on site have free use of the facilities.
The fitness zone comprises a state-of-the-art gymnasium and two exercise studios and the Fitness team offer gym instruction, a variety of fitness classes* and personal training*.
The social area offers a choice of Finnish style Sauna, Turkish Bath and Experience Showers equipped with a choice of varying jets, all situated near the heated indoor pool. Children under 16 years of age can use the indoor pool under the supervision of an adult. Adjoining the spa is an outdoor Jacuzzi and Hydrotherapy pool (seasonal opening).
Belmar Spa & Fitness boasts four treatment suites and a couple's suite. A variety of luxury spa treatments* are on offer including facials, massage therapies, hot stone rituals, body exfoliations & wraps and spa manicure and pedicure. All guests are invited to use the Relaxation Suite after their beauty treatment, with complimentary drinks.

All accommodation at Belmar Spa & Beach Resort in Lagos is self-catering but we appreciate that you may not wish to cater for yourself every day when on holiday.
In fact we can arrange for a welcome food pack to be placed in your accommodation before you arrive so you are sure of having all the essentials in place.

We can even arrange for champagne and flowers to be placed in the apartment for a celebratory holiday.
The Lobby Bar is located in the main reception area of the aparthotel of Belmar Spa & Beach Resort, and serves drinks throughout the day, ideal for a mid morning coffee watching TV in the lounge or for a pre-dinner cocktail.
Restaurante Levante, also situated in the aparthotel, can seat up to 120 guests with a spacious terrace, which overlooks the outdoor pool areas and offers striking sea views. Restaurante Levante serves meals, snacks and drinks throughout the day (seasonal opening times) with a Mediterrean themed menu. À la carte dining is available as is a buffet breakfast and half board option. In addition, room service is available to guests staying in the apartments within the aparthotel.
Restaurante Levante is also the perfect venue for a private event such as a wedding reception, when our professional team will personalise a package for the bride and groom.

Children are very welcome at Belmar Spa & Beach Resort and the location of the resort, right on top of the beautiful Porto de Mos beach in Lagos, makes it a superb venue for family beach holidays in the Algarve.
Small children have a dedicated children’s paddling pool and older children can swim in the communal outdoor pools. The heated indoor pool within Belmar Spa & Fitness is available to children at designated times throughout the day.
To let off some steam, children are welcome to play tennis or football on the multipurpose sports pitch or use the playground.
To make your family holiday in the Algarve run smoothly, high chairs and travel cots are available to pre-hire for small children, as are extra beds (which may be a sofa bed) which are suitable for children up to 12 years old.
When you don’t wish to cater for yourself in your self-catering accommodation, the family can eat at Restaurante Levante. For pre-booked buffet breakfasts or half board options, children between 3 -12 years receive 50% discount, and children under 3 years go free of charge.

1) Price Information
Prices are in Euros per apartment per night and are subject to alteration without prior notice. Taxes and services are included.
In the aparthotel, prices include daily maid service and towel change twice a week with bed linen changed weekly. In the touristic apartments, prices include cleaning and towel change twice a week,and bed linen changed once a week.
A buffet breakfast is served daily in the restaurant. This can be pre-booked when making a reservation at a cost of €10 per adult |€5 per child* per day or can be paid for on an ad hoc basis at a cost of €12 per per adult | €6 per child* per day. An à la carte breakfast menu is also available.
Half board option can be pre-booked at the price of €35 per per adult | €17.50 per child* per day.
* Child between 3-12 years old. Under 3’s go free of charge.
2) Supplements
Child’s extra bed | sofa bed on request (maximum age 12 years): €20 per night (Nov 2011-Mar 2012); €30 per night (Apr, May, Oct); €35 per night (Jun, Sept); €45 per night (Jul, Aug).
Cot (with bedding) | High Chair : €6.50 per night.
New Year’s Eve supplement: Price of season B is applicable from 29.12.11 to 2.1.12.
3) Reservations
Accommodation type will be confirmed upon reservation.

We do not guarantee the unit booked will be as in the brochure / website.
4) Resort information
Minimum stay is for 2 nights.
Check-in from 4pm and check-out by midday.
At check-in, guests will be requested to leave a security deposit of €250 to cover any damage to the property during their stay. This can be taken on credit card.
Children under 16 years of age will be able to use the indoor pool, under the responsibility of an adult, at designated times only.
Pets are not allowed at the resort.
5) Responsibilities
Belmar Spa & Beach Resort cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond their control,including so-called force majeure such as failure of water, electricity or gas, adverse climatic events, fire, earthquake, neither for other political or social activities such as war, strikes, riots, epidemics, quarantines, or any other unforeseen activities.
6) Complaints
Complaints should be addressed to reception which will take appropriate measures to solve the problem. No liability will be accepted after check-out.
7) Payment Policy
A deposit of 25% of the total cost is required to confirm the booking and the balance of 75% must be paid at least 15 days before arrival.
For any group booking (5 or more properties), a deposit of 25% of the total cost is required to confirm the booking and the balance of 75% must be paid at least 30 days before arrival.
Any third party services booked on your behalf will be subject to pre-payment unless otherwise stated.
Once the deposit has been taken and the booking is confirmed there will be no alteration to price, except if additional services are requested by the client, including but not limited to: additional transfers, spa treatments etc.
8) Accepted Methods of payment
Credit Card (Visa/Mastercard/American Express), bank transfer, cash or Portuguese cheque. All bank transfer costs must be supported by the client.
9) Cancellation and Changes
Any booking cancelled less than 14 days before the arrival date, or a no show, will incur the loss of the deposit. For any group booking (5 or more properties) cancelled less than 29 days prior to the arrival date, or a no show, will incur loss of the deposit.
10) Refunds
No refund will be made to clients vacating the property prior to the expiry of the reservation period.
